I started my business out of both a personal need and a need I saw in my community. I went to school for Audio Production because I originally envisioned myself working on film sets and in recording studios. I achieved those goals, but when I moved back home to St. Louis, I noticed there were few opportunities in that field.

During undergrad, I also studied photography, videography, animation, and web design within my major. Looking back, I realized what I had really learned was the art of digital storytelling. With that understanding, I began creating content for businesses full time. Over time, I noticed a common challenge and it was that small businesses loved the videos and photos, but they weren’t seeing real results or growth--thus, making me the first expense to be cut.

That’s when I recognized the missing link: marketing and distribution. I expanded my agency’s services to not only create content but also help businesses use it strategically to generate awareness, leads, and sales. Today, we partner with businesses across our community to help them grow and tell their stories. For me, it’s about using digital storytelling to empower others so they can, in turn, empower their own communities.
