7 De Diciembre Group
A loan of $3,550 helps a member to buy merchandise.
7 De Diciembre Group's story
Raimunda is an active member of the 7 de Diciembre credit group and the mother of one child. At this time, she runs a store from the comfort of her home. This allows her to have a flexible schedule and generate income without having to leave her house. She opted to go into this line of business because she values the possibility of managing her own time autonomously while providing essential products to her community.
Previously, she worked as a nurse, but her participation in the credit group allowed her to access capital, which she used to invest in her business. Over time, she was able to consolidate her business. Her dream is to keep expanding so that more people in her community can find everything they need in her store.
Raimunda's goal is to provide quality products at accessible prices and to become a landmark in her area.
With the present loan, she plans to invest in beef, sugar, chicken, dairy products, and yerba mate to restock her business.
Other members of the group sell fast food, have haberdasheries, stores, and other enterprises.
(At this time, Raimunda is alone in the photo because the other members of the group weren't able to attend the meeting due to bad weather.)
