Letty Maria
A loan of $2,200 helps to buy a planting kit (certified seeds, urea, fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides), as well as to pay for water and transport, etc.
Letty Maria's story
Letty Maria is 54 years old and she lives in a free union. She has three adult children who are independent. Her partner is a farmer. They live in a place called El Junco in the city of Bahía de Caráquez, Ecuador. Many people in the area work in agriculture, planting corn in the winter. The majority of inhabitants in the zone also raise caged birds. Letty Maria and her husband work growing corn, which they plant in the winter, and when they harvest, the products are sold to buyers who come to buy and at other times they use a truck and take the corn to markets where they work every day. This loan will be used to buy a planting kit (certified seeds, urea, fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides), as well as to pay for water and transport, etc. Her dream is to have the best harvest and for her family to be in good health.
