Kate brings her experience as an online strategist to Kiva, where she will work to help increase Kiva's brand awareness online though a variety of channels. Kate comes to Kiva from Change.org, where she helped dozens of non-profit organizations grow their networks of supporters through online petitions. Prior to that, Kate was building years of experience in online fundraising and communications through her work at Share Our Strength and as a consultant with many other cause-based organizations. She holds a B.A. in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland in College Park, and is a Terp fan always - even when they lose. In her spare time, Kate likes to swim, bike, run - occasionally combining the three into a triathlon.
