Aleke Dondo, the founder of Juhudi Kilimo, was named Social Entrepreneur of the Year for Africa! The Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship distributed this award during the World Economic Forum on Africa in Cape Town, South Africa. 
Steve Mutai, the Finance Director of Juhudi Kilimo, was selected to be an Acumen East Africa Fellow! Steve is a strong ally and has played a crucial role in Kiva’s partnership with Juhudi Kilimo. Juhudi Kilimo is a newly established for-profit Kiva Field Partner that addresses rural economic development in Kenya by providing innovative, agriculture-based, micro-asset financing loans.
