Vinh's story
Vinh, age 39, lives with her family in Đông Sơn District and cares for two dependent children, a daughter who is in secondary school and a baby boy who is eight months old. She has been running a small retail shop for over four years. Vinh earns a modest income, so her family is among the low-income households in her community.
This is her second loan with Thanh Hóa Microfinance Institution. She plans to expand her small business by purchasing more goods such as instant noodles, cooking oil, milk, and soft drinks. Her previous loan helped to improve her family’s living conditions and the stability of her business.
In the future, Vinh hopes that her family remains healthy and happy, her business continues to grow, and she can save enough to educate her children and build a new home.
